New: a new terrace with a lake view.

This October, we embarked on a project we’ve long dreamed of: building a new terrace designed to revitalize and enhance the historic 1950s building in front of the hotel.

Below you can see the before-and-after photos: two images that bear witness to a significant transformation, one that blends memory with renewal. Watching it take shape day by day is a wonderful experience for us… and we can’t wait to share the final result with you.

The first step was demolishing the old terrace and excavating the site: this was necessary to properly prepare the foundation. Immediately afterward, the project began to take shape as reconstruction began and the first load-bearing elements were installed.

Work progressed steadily over the following months, despite the particularly harsh winter, which made some workdays more challenging than expected. Thanks to the dedication and continuity on the construction site, we were nevertheless able to continue the work without interruption.

At the end of February, we reached an important milestone: the completion of the final slab. A moment that marks the near-completion of the main structure of the terrace… and makes the final result increasingly tangible and concrete.

The exterior work—terraces and gardens—will be completed by May, while the interior work will continue in the fall. With the arrival of summer, construction will pause temporarily to ensure you have a peaceful, relaxing stay free from any disturbances.

We are truly happy to share this journey with you: documenting a construction site on a hotel’s website is not a common choice, but for us it means opening the doors to the “behind the scenes” and letting you be part of every transformation.
